Speculation is swirling around former Fox News host Tucker Carlson as he was last seen in Maine.

The Western Journal reports that something is potentially brewing as Carlson is reportedly considering moving his show to Twitter after being terminated at Fox News. The Daily Mail reports that Carlson and some of his loyalists are rebuilding a home studio out of Maine, where he can report from on Twitter.

The report from the Daily Mail said the following: “The studio — in a converted barn — will now have to be completely rebuilt after being left in shambles by the network’s crew.”

Carlson is still technically under contract at Fox News until 2025, but he already announced on May 9 that he would take his show to Twitter. The legal ramifications of this are still a question mark, but there is a lot of excitement about the potential for Carlson to move his show to the social media platform run by Elon Musk.

Carlson said about his potential comeback: “There aren’t many platforms left that allow free speech,” and “The last big one remaining in the world, the only one is Twitter, where we are now.”. He also said: “Twitter’s not a partisan site. Everyone’s allowed here, and we think that’s a good thing.”

The Washington Post reports that Elon Musk stated that a deal hadn’t been signed between Carlson and the Twitter platform. One of the concerns is that there may not be any easy way to monetize the show. However, the main intent now seems to be to get Carlson’s voice out to the public as much as possible.

Fox News seems at least somewhat intent on trying to keep Carlson off the air and in compliance with his contract. Patrick Feeney, who has been overseeing the construction of the home studio in Maine for Carlson, said the following while speaking with the Daily Mail: “Fox came in last week and got all their s*** out of.”

This comes just before Carlson was all set and ready to start broadcasting from the home studio by all appearances. Thus, there may be some more drama yet to come out of all of this.
