Beauty is supposedly in the eye of the beholder.

Still, Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI, has its interpretation of what the "ideal" male and female should look like, according to a report published by The Bulimia Project.

The Daily Caller reports when The Bulimia Project was published is unclear, but the results are pretty...literally.

According to the report, the project used data cultivated from postings on social media. One of the project's goals was to determine how psychology played a role in social media's ability to distort body imagery. The project used multiple AI technology platforms, which included Dall-E 2, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion.

Daily Caller news and commentary writer Kay Smythe noted everyone might not feel good after seeing what the perfect male and female would look like. Smythe said the results "will probably make you feel a bit crappy."

AI envisions the "perfect" woman, based on input from social media, to have beautiful long hair that is blonde or darker brown to black. Per social media, the "perfect" male had dark hair and perfect jawlines and came across as having a European or Asian heritage.

An olive skin tone is presented in an estimated 53 percent of the AI images.

The "perfect male/female in 2023" results were very different from the previous report. According to the Daily Caller, every race was represented. The project analysis stated, "The main difference we noticed between AI's collection of social media-inspired images and those based on everything else it found on the World Wide Web was that the first set was far more sexually charged."

The Daily Caller notes that social media filters most likely skewed the overall results and that some AI images were over-the-top regarding masculinity. Still, overall, the results weren't unattractive.
