As evidence of their influence, Rogan pointed to the Twitter Files, a series of investigations led by journalists such as Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss. This resulted in the unveiling of the social media giant's inner workings and shadowbanning of conservatives.
This included the shadowbanning of conservatives, the banning of Donald Trump after the events of January 6, 2021, and the influence of government agencies in determining which individuals and topics Twitter should censor.
