Mind-Blowing: New Report Shows How Many HOURS The FBI Spent On J6 Compared To Time Spent On BLM And Antifa Riots

The Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project recently uncovered a significant discrepancy between the hours the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Washington, DC Field Office spent working in the days following the January 6 Capitol riot and those it spent during the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots earlier in the year.

According to payroll records, the FBI agents worked 86,262 hours between January 4 and 17, 2021, compared to only 70,367.25 hours between May 25 and June 7, 2020. Mike Howell, director of the Oversight Project, spoke to the Daily Signal about this disparity and said, "It's clear the FBI and Justice Department have been weaponized," he lamented, suggesting that the discrepancy between time spent on Jan 6 and the BLM riots shows "the lengths they will go to to surge resources towards nonviolent offenses that fit their political narratives."

He called for the FBI to focus on more serious crimes, "law enforcement should focus their resources where they are needed and put an end to the gangs, rapes, carjackings, and murders that have become all too common."

The FBI, however, has not disclosed how much of the 86,000 hours were dedicated to January 6 cases alone, prompting Howell and the Oversight Project to sue for the information. The BLM riots after George Floyd's death caused widespread destruction, including property damage, and even saw parts of a historic DC church set ablaze. Then-president Trump subsequently made a controversial visit to the church and held up a Bible in triumph.
