Republicans continue to try and fix Biden’s economy.

Their latest effort is a sweeping energy bill to help lower inflation fueled by high energy costs, contributing to America’s struggle. A coalition of 27 groups has formed, urging Congress to pass the bill as soon as possible.

In short, the bill will give domestic production a much-needed boost. Then, it will lower taxes and regulations, helping companies save money. Those savings will then be passed on to the consumer. Fox News reports, “‘Families and businesses are facing historic inflation costs driven by President Biden’s war on American energy,’ AFP Vice President of Government Affairs Akash Chougule told Fox News Digital in a statement. ‘Now, Congress has a real opportunity to lower costs by repealing the onerous taxes and regulations that are standing in the way of an abundant, reliable energy supply.’”

The letter points out several ways this bill will help lower costs to help Americans. First, it would eliminate the new taxes on new gas infrastructure that are so expensive. It would also ensure regular gas and oil leasing on federal lands and boost the ability of mining companies to establish a supply chain in the United States. The bill tackles several factors contributing to the high cost that many Americans must pay.

Individuals in the industry have repeatedly called out the Biden Administration for its attacks on the oil and gas industry. They say the actions of the administration make it more difficult and costly to produce on federal land, making America more dependent on other countries for things we could be creating ourselves.

The legislation was introduced on Tuesday, with Republicans saying it would address the energy crisis Biden’s policies have put into motion.

While the bill will boost our economy, it’s still in the House. Because it goes against Biden’s Climate Agenda, no one knows how it will do in the Democrat-led Senate. We don’t have high hopes that Democrats will jump on board. However, we’ll have to wait and see.
