The movie is said to expose the dangers of a one-size-fits-all transgender medical experiment, and the transgender community is up in arms about the situation.
The Post Millennial reported that activists latched on to it as soon as the film was released and began swiping at it. They started to make their voices heard and were very upset that the film existed.
LGBT activist & lifelong Liberal Democrat Joey Brite is the film’s producer and spoke with The Post Millennial about the film’s goal. Brite stated that the film’s purpose was “to expose the dangers of the experimental drugs and surgeries being promoted and adopted by medical professionals and health clinicians in every aspect of American society.”

Dr. Julia Mason was also featured in the film and stated that activists began their questions to try to get the film removed just hours after it was launched in the first place.
Dr. Mason has been lobbying the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for years to conduct a study that would review the impacts of gender transitions on children who are minors. These studies have been conducted in countries like Sweden and Norway in the past, and they contain important information about the kind of experiences children in the study are likely to experience.

It is so important to have these types of studies to help provide information about the latest details of what can happen when these types of surgeries and procedures are performed on children. There may be some precautionary stories that we can all learn from, and it is essential to ensure everyone has every piece of information they require when thinking about suggesting these types of surgery for children.
Psychotherapist Tania Marshall tweeted questions about the motives of those attempting to censor these movies. Marshall tweeted:
“Always ask yourself “Why do people ‘need’ to ban & censor information”? Control. Then ask, “What information are they attempting to withhold and keep secret from society”? Go watch Affirmation Generation to find out why they want this documentary banned.”
The question is valid. Why must people try to ban materials that they simply disagree with? This is something that shouldn’t be happening.
