The U.S. State Departments pretends to provide grants to promote free speech, while rejecting applicants who disagree with their woke agenda.

The State Department is granting $750,000 to help combat those who oppose the promotion of certain topics such as: biological males playing women's sports, abortion-on-demand, and the sexual indoctrination of six-year-olds. This is to ensure that those who disagree with these topics cannot freely express their opinion.

The State Department requires that any organization interested in receiving government funding for a free-speech initiative should ensure the inclusivity of all members of society, including women and girls of all backgrounds, LGBTQI+ persons, transgender individuals, migrants, those from racial, ethnic, and Indigenous communities, and members of religious minorities who are under attack by anti-rights actors.

In the Notice of Funding Opportunity "Ensuring Freedom of Expression for Vulnerable and Marginalized Populations Responding to Anti-Rights Efforts and Targeted Attacks" from the State Department, it is stated that grants will only be available to those whose programs "are backed by and involve lesbian and bisexual women, transgender and intersex individuals, and other gender diverse persons."

The document states that effective proposals must contain a comprehensive gender analysis that takes into consideration the individual requirements of women and girls, including lesbian and bisexual women, plus transgender, intersex, and other gender non-conforming people, women of color, women with disabilities, and women who face multiple forms of discrimination and mistreatment.

To solidify their offer, the State Department adds that it “requests proposals specifically focused on responding to so-called ‘anti-gender movements,’ that have engaged in targeted attacks on individual human rights defenders and organizations; produced and circulated disinformation, myths, and conspiracy theories targeting vulnerable and marginalized communities and increasing social stigma against these groups.”
