On Saturday, a senior member of the Biden Administration declared that Chinese surveillance balloons had crossed American airspace on at least three occasions during Donald Trump's term as President.

It was only after former President Trump had left the White House that the information that Chinese reconnaissance balloons had floated over the U.S. was uncovered, according to a top-ranking representative of the Biden administration who spoke to Fox News.

Former President Donald Trump and his most important National Security and Defense officials have rejected the assertion that Chinese spy balloons crossed the US during his administration, affirming to Fox News Digital that "it never happened."

The official added, "These balloons are all part of a PRC fleet of balloons developed to conduct surveillance operations, which have also violated the sovereignty of other countries," the official explained, adding that these activities are "often undertaken at the direction of the People’s Liberation Army."

For a considerable period of time, Chinese balloons have been spotted in various places around the world, including in East Asia, South Asia, and Europe.

Fox News Digital reports that both of these occurrences can be accurate: the occurrence happened, and it was not identified. U.S. sources reported to Fox News on Sunday that a Chinese reconnaissance balloon had come down in the Pacific not far from Hawaii four months before.

These same sources also disclosed that one or more of these surveillance balloons had flown over parts of Texas and Florida while Donald Trump was President.

The official concluded, “We have learned technical things about this balloon and its surveillance capabilities. And I suspect if we are successful in recovering aspects of the debris, we will learn even more.”
