Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. She left it all out on the field when discussing the death threats she has received over the years.

Fox News reports that Omar put out a profanity-laced video on her Twitter account to show the world what kind of threats she has faced over the years from her detractors.

Omar tweeted a message within 24 hours before it was determined if she would be permitted to remain on the House Foreign Affairs Committee after Kevin McCarthy had pushed hard not to allow that to happen. He seemingly wants to get her off the committee in retribution for some members of the GOP getting knocked off their committees while Nancy Pelosi was in charge of the House.

One recording that Omar shared on her social media account started with the following:

"You f------ c----, I'll put a bullet in your f------- head, and get the f--- out of my country,"

And continued:

“I’ll f------ kill you!”

Omar stated that this was just one of the many threats she and her office have received over the years. She pointed out that she seems to get more of these threats when Republicans put a specific target on her back. Right now, it is fair to say that she might have a bigger target on her back than usual, as there is a lot of consideration about whether she will be allowed to stay on her committees.

Fox News reports that she added the following commentary about what she feels about the situations that she has faced lately: “They can continue to target me, but they will never stop me from fighting for a more just world.”

She then went after the GOP, accusing them of using sexism and racism as the basis to keep her off of committees. She simply stated the following on Twitter about it:

“Btw as horrific as this is to listen to, I share it because the Republican Party (and the public) need to know that there is a very real human cost to their continued targeting of women of color, not just to me but to those who share my identities.”

McCarthy also announced plans to remove more Democrats from their respective committees were a reality. For example, Rep. Adam Schiff and Rep. Eric Swalwell are to be removed from the House Intelligence Committee. The important thing here is that both of these men are white, which damages Omar’s argument.
