Recently, clips of the show have been circulating on social media, causing a stir among those on the left who vehemently disagree with what Fred Rogers is saying.
In the videos, Rogers is seen discussing gender with the young viewers of his show. “Boys are boys from the beginning, girls are girls right from the start. Everybody’s fancy, Everybody’s fine. Your body’s fancy and so is mine.” he says.
The message is a stark contrast to the current progressive view on gender identity, which is becoming increasingly mainstream. In recent years, the media and Hollywood have done their best to normalize transgenderism and the idea that a person’s gender is malleable.

The clips of Rogers’ show have resonated with many on the right, who see it as a sign that the progressive agenda is not as accepted as the media would have us believe.
“This is just another example of how the left tries to push their agenda on the rest of us,” says John Smith, a conservative activist. “They want to convince us that their views are the only acceptable ones, but these clips show that’s not the case.”

Despite the backlash from the left, the clips of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood have spread widely on social media, and many have praised Rogers for his common sense approach to gender. “He was ahead of his time in so many ways,” says one user.
