School officials are unclear exactly how Lamere came to get the TikTok videos out to students, but the Maine Wire reports that at least one student said that the teacher wrote the TikTok handle on the whiteboard and asked the students to check it out.
The principal of the school continued in his e-mail by saying:
“As the day unfolded, it became apparent that a lot of students were talking about the TikTok account.”
The posts that students accessed have now been taken off of TikTok, but school officials could download those videos before they were deleted.

Many of the posts from this teacher across all kinds of social media indicate that the teacher frequently posts content about sexuality, gender, and other similar topics. Many posts would be viewed as highly controversial by certain people who do not necessarily agree with the viewpoints expressed by people such as Lamere. It is indeed a challenging situation for the school, but it is also bad for parents trying to raise their children in a manner they agree with.
