As tensions continue to increase worldwide, many are sitting on the edge of their seats.

If you’re not, what this Air Force general predicts will make you. According to him, we’ll be at war with China sooner than you think.

Fox News reports, “A four-star Air Force General on Friday predicted in a memo to his officers that the U.S. will be at war with China by 2025 and advised his commanders to prepare, a report by NBC News said.”

General Mike Minihan is the head of the air mobility command. He sent a memo to Air Force operational and air wing commanders telling them his prediction and that he hoped his gut feeling was wrong.

General Minihan believes that the 2024 elections will serve as a distraction. The elections are a big deal every four years worldwide, and it’s just enough to distract both Washington and Taiwan. This will allow China to invade Taiwan, which they have been waiting for.

Minihan wants to know what commanders are doing to prepare to fight China. The general says a fortified Joint Maneuver Team that can fight inside the island and win is necessary. He’s instructed Air Force Commanders to prepare for the fight and wants to hear back by February 28.

However, a defense official says that Minihan’s comments and memos do not represent the department’s views. Instead, they focus on working with allies to keep a free and open Indo-Pacific.

That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take General Minihan seriously, though. Tensions between China and the United States remain high as China makes it known the goal is to reunite China and Taiwan as one country. Over the past two years, Beijing has increased aggression in the area. President Biden said he would send American forces to battle if Taiwan is invaded. The Secretary of Defense says war is not imminent, but many beg to differ.
