Dave Chappelle, a well-known comedian, put LGBTQ+ activists on blast this week for their hypocrisy.

However, let’s keep in mind that Chappelle is a comedian, so it’s not as though he was threatening people.

This comes after a conversation with Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey. During the discussion, Chappelle pointed out that activists want people to be scared of them. According to The Blaze, Dave Chappelle said, “‘If you say this, then we will punish you. We’ll come to First Avenue and f*** your show, and we’ll come to the Varsity Theater and f**** your show up.’ And they just don’t get to do that” when talking about the activists.

He was scheduled for a show at First Avenue, a theater in Minneapolis. Then, it was canceled and moved to Varsity Theater. The cancellation came after First Avenue caved under activist pressure. According to The Blaze, the theater released, “We believe in diverse voices and the freedom of artistic expression, but in honoring that, we lost sight of the impact this would have.”

Activists go after Chappelle because of “The Closer,” a special that aired on Netflix in 2021. It resulted in walkouts and attempts to silence Chappelle. One activist said his jokes were taking people’s lives. Here’s one of his homicidal jokes: “They canceled J.K. Rowling. My God. Effectually, she said gender was a fact, and then the trans community got mad as s***. They started calling her a TERF.”

For the unversed, TERF is an abbreviation for Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists. It’s a term used for people who believe biological females are the only women. So, if you go by science, you’re now a radical feminist.

This sparked a petition on change.org to cancel the show, which many believe is why the show in Minneapolis was canceled. The petition says that Chappelle is a danger to the trans community.

After the cancellation of the first show, activists headed to the second location in a further attempt to silence Chappelle and go off on his fans; while they were swearing that his jokes are the root of violence, they threw eggs at those waiting to see the show.

Ironically, Chappelle was attacked by a man with a knife at a previous show because Chappelle’s LGBT jokes triggered him. However, they claim that Chappelle is the one that will cause violence. The hypocrisy is always deep on the left.
