Department of Justice officials have found even more classified documents at President Joe Biden’s Delaware home. One of Biden’s lawyers stated that the DOJ found another six classified documents at the estate. The Blaze News reports that the DOJ conducted a 12-hour search of the Biden home in Delaware on Friday. Bob Bauer, a personal lawyer for Biden, made a statement about the search and said: [tweet_embed]January 24, 2023[/tweet_embed] “DOJ requested that the search not be made public in advance, in accordance with its standard procedures, and we agreed to cooperate.” He continued by saying: [tweet_embed]January 24, 2023[/tweet_embed] “DOJ had full access to the President’s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades.” Finally, he went on to say: “DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years.” Another lawyer for the Bidens made it clear that neither the President nor the First Lady was at the residence while the search was conducted. The search was said to have begun around 9:45 AM and concluded at approximately 10:30 PM. CNBC reported the following about the search: “Some of the classified documents and ‘surrounding materials’ dated from Biden’s tenure in the Senate, where he represented Delaware from 1973 to 2009, according to his lawyer, Bob Bauer, who said the DOJ was invited to conduct the search. And ‘some of” the documents’ were from his tenure as vice president in the Obama administration, from 2009 through 2017, Bauer said.” This is just the latest incident of classified documents showing up in the hands of the Bidens. They also discovered these documents at the Biden-Penn Center in Washington, DC, on November 2, 2022. However, the disclosure of finding of those documents was not revealed to the public until January 8, 2023. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland confirmed the existence of even more classified documents at the Biden home discovered on December 20, 2022, and confirmed by Garland on January 12, 2023. On Thursday, Biden stated that he has “no regrets” about handling classified documents. His attorney stated: “Since the beginning, the President has been committed to handling this responsibly because he takes this seriously.”
