Breitbart reports that the man used a garden hose to spray a homeless woman near his art gallery. The individual has now been charged with misdemeanor battery for the situation.
Breitbart News reported that a video of the incident emerged on social media recently. The video showed the owner spraying this woman with a water hose when she wouldn't move off of the street outside of his art gallery. The woman was eventually hospitalized for injuries related to this incident.
The Internet doesn't all take the same side on this issue. A significant debate arose online between those who believe the art gallery owner was justified and those who do not.

It puts many people in a very tough spot when looking at how they can live and work in a city like this. The Los Angeles Times reports that the police say that the art gallery owner openly admitted to his actions. Their reporting stated the following:
"Collier Gwin, 71, faces a charge of misdemeanor battery after being accused of intentionally and unlawfully spraying water on a woman who was sitting on a sidewalk outside his gallery, according to the San Francisco district attorney's office, which said it issued an arrest warrant for Gwin after reviewing the evidence from a police investigation."

Prosecutors stated that, if convicted, Gwin could face up to six months in county jail and up to a $2,000 fine for his actions. The San Francisco Chronicle noted that the art gallery had released an apology for the incident.
Sadly, it has pushed some people to take these actions, but that appears to be the case. San Francisco continues to suffer under one of the slowest recovery periods from the pandemic of any city in the country. The people there are genuinely suffering.
