The Blunt Truth: Conservative Congressman CALLS OUT Corporations For "Bending The Knee" To The CCP

The Daily Caller said that Gallagher became the chairman of the House’s select committee to investigate China’s economic and technological challenges. This is a new committee formed by the Republican House to investigate the dealings of China and to work to make sure the United States is in a position to combat those same challenges as we work on outpacing China at their games.

Gallagher told radio host Hugh Hewitt that Disney and the NBA will have to testify before the select committee about their ties to China. He said the following on the radio program:

“Consider this me giving them the initial warning order that they’ll have to testify before the committee,”

He then carried on with a lengthy explanation of his opinion of the connections between the NBA, Disney, and China:

“You know, I’d even be willing to go out to Hollywood or Disney. I’d be willing to go out and sit down with them where they are, you know, engage with them in a discussion. But we want to discuss in front of the American people. It drives the American people crazy when they see the NBA bending the knee to Xi Jinping. It drives them crazy, and the bigger concern is that it gives us a preview of what will happen to the rest of our domestic industries if we allow the Chinese Communist Party to control the commanding heights of technology and the economy.”

Congressman Gallagher is concerned that China will be able to blackmail the entire world with its connections to various American companies. Thus, it seems that the Communist country is expanding more and more into its connections with American companies, which might put all of those companies, and the country as a whole, at risk.
