Trump is known for his loyal following, whether it’s the Republicans that stand by his side through thick or thin or the politicians and advisors he has tirelessly supported.

However, more and more of them are turning to President Trump now that they think they have the opportunity.

According to the NY Post, “ Former White House national security adviser John Bolton reiterated Friday that he may run for President in 2024 — adding that he can beat his old boss, former President Donald Trump, to the Republican nomination because of the ‘terminal decline’ in the 45th President’s support.”

John Bolton has been an advisor to four Presidential administrations, including President Trump’s. He has a few opinions on Trump running for President again in 2024. Per the NY Post, “Bolton previously mused on running for President last month, when he told NBC News that he wanted to see potential 2024 Republican candidates denounce the 76-year-old Trump’s call to override the Constitution and hold an immediate rerun of the 2020 presidential election.”

However, that’s not the only reason Bolton is considering a run for President. He claims that he won’t run just for the sake of running. Instead, he believes that specific changes need to be made in the country. Per the NY Post, “‘I would get in to win the nomination, and I would do it primarily on the basis that we need a much stronger foreign policy,’ added Bolton, who has served in the previous four Republican presidential administrations.”

He might state that he wants to be President for a better foreign policy, but you can’t help but notice how he attempts to belittle Donald Trump when he gets the chance.

Despite his tough stance on foreign policy, he can’t help but state that he wants to de-rail Trump, who fired him in 2019 when the two had a significant disagreement regarding Afghanistan and North Korea policies. He’s also taken to name-calling by calling President Trump a liar, among other things.
