Judicial Failure: Court DISMISSES Lawsuit From Parents Concerned About This...

In Massachusetts, a particular school has a policy that involves not telling parents about their child’s sexuality.

This includes conversations about transitioning or if a child transitions. The school seems to think that parents don’t have a right to know. Now, a judge has sided with the school.

According to Just The News, “Massachusetts judge this week threw out a parental lawsuit against a school District’s policy of hiding the gender transitions of two underage children, claiming the rule—while flawed—did not rise to the level of a necessary constitutional standard.”

The article continues, “U.S. District Court Judge Mark Mastroianni professed himself “apprehensive” about the reported transgender policies of Ludlow County Schools, but that the suit brought by two parents against the District regarding those policies failed to meet a longstanding “shock-the-conscience” constitutional test.”

The students at the school were only 11 and 12. They spoke with the school about using new names and pronouns and planning to transition. On top of that, they clarified that they did not want their parents to know, and the school always intended to keep it a secret.

In his ruling, the judge said that the name and pronouns should address everyone how they want. However, he did note that the school wasn’t entirely correct.

According to Just The News, “Though he tossed the lawsuit, the judge did acknowledge it ‘disconcerting that school administrators or a school committee adopted and implemented a policy requiring school staff to actively hide information from parents about something of importance regarding their child.’”

Every parent has a right to know what’s going on with their child, especially regarding something that can be a medical concern. However, instead of respecting parents’ rights, Democrats continue to stomp on them whenever they have a chance. They need to stop attacking children and trying to raise other people’s kids.
