This is what the former Attorney General has to say about the FBI.
Just The News reports,” ‘I think ultimately we need new leadership at the FBI,’ Whitaker said Tuesday on the ‘Just the News, No Noise’ TV show. ‘I’ve known Chris Wray for a long time. I had great hopes for him turning that institution around. I don’t think he’s been able to accomplish it.’”
The Twitter files reveal that the FBI took steps to pay for censorship, an effort many see as swaying public opinion. Because of this, Whitaker believes that the organization needs to change. The FBI is infamously known for being corrupt, and Whitaker was once full of hope that the current leader, Chris Wray, would turn that around. Unfortunately, all America has seen is more corruption and politically motivated investigations.

The corruption and agency acting to support one political party over another are why much of the public has lost trust in the agency. Even officials outside of the agency often question the motives of the FBI. That’s why Whitaker thinks it’s time for a change.

Just The News reports, “‘I think he has built loyalty for himself and the men and women of the FBI by fighting on their behalf and being on their team,’ Whitaker said. ‘But you need somebody to go in there and reform the institution. I don’t think Chris is the person to do it.’”

He’s not the only that thinks Chris Wray needs to go. Just The News says, “New York Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney calls for Wray to step down. She says that one of the things former President Donald Trump should have done while in office was clean out the FBI of bureaucrats who weren’t following the law.”
Trump did his best to drain the swamp, but we still have a long way to go to end the corruption in the government. One of the first steps we need to take is cleaning up the FBI.
