Senator Warnock (D) took the win over Hershel Walker. Fox News reports that political commentator Karl Rove now says that Republicans losing that seat and many of the others they did in this cycle was avoidable. He is now blaming Donald Trump for the losses.
Rove spoke with Fox News Digital and said the following:
"We had a terrible candidate who was well-meaning but plagued with a lot of scandal and was not particularly good on the campaign trail."

Rove put the fault for poor candidate quality squarely in the hands of Donald Trump. Trump did help to select Hershel Walker to run for the seat, and some say that he must bear the weight of the fact that Walker was such a terrible pick for this particular race.

Warnock's victory helped the Democrats accomplish something that hadn't happened since 1934. They defended every incumbent Senator they had up for re-election in the Senate. This gave Rove more ammunition for making the claims that he did.

Rove said the following to Fox News:
"We ought to realize that Trump's endorsement is not an inducement to support that candidate, but a warning to beware."

Donald Trump endorsed Hershel Walker long before the allegations of infidelity and paying for two women to get abortions came to light. However, Trump has been a longtime friend of Walker, and he still felt that it was possible that his friend could pull out the win in Georgia.

Republican operators, such as Rove, want to start slinging mud at Trump and others just goes to show that some are willing to say and do anything to keep the spotlight off of them as viable Republican candidates.
Rove continued with his comments about how the seat was winnable by saying:

"If Warnock had been opposed by a traditional Republican who was not so embraced by Trump and was capable of running a credible campaign, Warnock would have been defeated,"
However, Walker was not the only Trump-endorsed candidate that fell to defeat. Blake Masters in Arizona and Dr. Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania are two more examples of candidates that went down to defeat. Thus, there are a lot of important factors that came into play when it comes to who won and who lost. Blaming it all on Trump or anyone else doesn't make a lot of sense.
