Throw The Book At Him! OK Assistant DA Arrested For DISGUSTING Charges

Law enforcement officials are supposed to be examples to the rest of the public, urged to obey the laws.

But when Kevin Etherington, the assistant district attorney in Stillwater, Oklahoma, was arrested on charges related to child pornography, people began to wonder about their protectors.

Etherington is the 53-year-old man found in possession of child pornography. He is also being charged with violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

Fox News reported that “The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children forwarded a tip to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in September that resulted in a search warrant execution at Etherington’s home on Monday. Etherington was then arrested and transported to the Payne County Jail.”

Laura Thomas is the District Attorney over Etherington. Fox News reported that she stated, “I cannot express how dismayed and disappointed I am about this development. I personally find the manufacture, distribution, and possession of child pornography to be both disgusting and incredibly damaging to individual victims and society.”

The secret crimes of people are brought to light once they are discovered. For the most part, people remain silent about the discovery. But when the perpetrator is a public official, everyone seems to be concerned.

Thomas also reported, “While the accused stands innocent of the alleged crime until proven guilty, my review of the investigation has resulted in this person’s dismissal from employment by my office.”

The crime committed by Etherington has rocked the region. They did not expect a leader in their community to commit such heinous acts against children. But Thomas was correct when she stated that he was innocent until proven guilty in court. Etherington’s life is over as he knows it. He will have his world rocked for the rest of his life as he answers for the crimes he has committed.
