Non-Stop Indoctrination: Children's Hospital Hires Trans Activist As Chaplain

A children's hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has drawn a fair bit of criticism after it was revealed that it hired a chaplain who is a known activist for transgender people.

This chaplain even shared a poem titled "Jesus at the Gay Bar." The chaplain shared this poem on a GoFundMe page as she tried to raise funds for her partner to have her breasts removed.

The Daily Wire reports that fliers said "Meet Your New Chaplain: Kate Newendorp" and listed her pronouns as she/her/hers. They listed her partner's pronouns as they/he.

Newendorp stated that the opportunity to work in a pediatric hospital is a dream come true for her, according to the Federalist. She stated the following:

"I am so excited to be working alongside everyone and am pumped to be part of the team. Think of me as your friendly next-door neighbor!"

Some employees and former employees of the hospital are not pleased with the hospital's steps. The Federalist also spoke with a former hospital employee who stated:

"We have already seen that Children's holds little value for respecting deeply held religious beliefs, given their recent COVID Religious Waiver Committee. But this feels like a step too far. It feels like they have actively recruited activists into this field to further their progressive agenda,"

That individual felt it was unfair to the children stuck in the hospital without any way of leaving to be subjected to the whims of the transgender agenda that someone like Newendorp might push.

All of this has proven to be fair too much for many people, and they don't like that a hospital they have long respected is doing everything it can to make certain groups of people comfortable at the expense of others.

Newendorp has written many controversial things over the years. The Daily Wire reports that she posted the following on Facebook in October:

"Also your casual reminder that my validity as an ordained minister is currently under review by my denomination because of the love I feel for my fiancé. Do better Church, because I'm not going anywhere. I was called."

It seems evident that Newendorp is outspoken and doesn't like to hear opinions that differ from hers. That could prove very challenging as she is supposed to be the chaplain for a central hospital system that cares for many different types of patients.
