He spoke about this with right-leaning podcaster Tim Pool in an interview on Pool's show. However, Ye only stuck around for part of the show. He ended up storming out of the podcast booth after Pool pushed back on some anti-Semitic comments that Ye has made in recent days. Ye did not want to speak about those concerns at all.
The rapper went on the show with others, such as white nationalist Nicholas Fuentes and controversial media personality Milo Yiannopoulos. Yiannopoulos is officially working on the Ye campaign for President.

Ye and Fuentes had dinner with former President Trump at Mar-A-Lago this past week. This dinner has earned much criticism and speculation about why these characters were all dining together.

The New York Post reports that Ye said the following on Pool's podcast regarding his finances:
"I'm talking about literally finding out that they were trying to put me in prison this morning."
He went on to say that the IRS put a $75 million freeze on four of his bank accounts. He also said that the IRS informed him that he owed many taxes. He says it took about 6 hours to determine the total amount owed. Ye claims that the total amount owed is approximately $50 million.

The New York Post sought comment from the IRS regarding this matter, but they did not provide any commentary on what is a private financial matter.
Ye admitted that he is not the most financially literate person. He says that he hired numerous CFOs to help him figure out if he is evading taxes or what the situation is.

He even went so far as to say:
"So now I'm having — I get to actually learn how to run a company. I get to learn how to, you know, to count, really."
In essence, Ye admitted that he was at the very beginning of his journey to try to learn something about finances. If he doesn't even know some of these basics, he might have a long journey ahead of him to figure out where he truly stands in business.
