The Kaiser Family Foundation even says that we can no longer call this a pandemic of the unvaccinated. They say the only appropriate thing to say now is that most people dying of COVID have had their vaccine before.
The Washington Post analyzed the COVID deaths that have occurred in the last few months and years. What they discovered was that waning immunity from the vaccine, as well as more infectious variations of the COVID disease being spread to the elderly, has made the disease more deadly for the vaccinated than it was before.

The Post reported that 58% of the COVID deaths in August were in people who have had their vaccination.

The paper said that it is disturbing that people who receive the vaccination are increasingly getting sick and dying from COVID.

Health officials continue to urge people to get their updated vaccinations as much as possible because they firmly believe that this is the best way to keep people safe from the potential of catching this disease and possibly dying from it.

White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish announced at a press briefing on Tuesday that the White House was actively working on a six-week sprint to get as many people vaccinated against COVID as possible.
The reason is that they need to be sure that they don't necessarily get caught up in a situation where they could have a lot of people ending up with more infections because of their close contact with family members from all over the country.

There are a lot of people who are concerned about the holidays leading to yet another spike in COVID and other diseases. Many parts of the country have already seen a spike in some of these diseases leading up to the holiday season. The White House insists that the most significant danger the country could face moving forward will be another spike in COVID infections and more.
The reality that most people dying from COVID are now vaccinated means that there is no silver bullet to defeat COVID.
