A slain EMT’s parents are enraged over the policies and rampant crime throughout the city.

Thanks to an incompetent mayor, their child is dead, and they’re ready to take on the Mayor of New York City.

According to The Western Journal, “Lt. Alison Russo-Elling was stabbed to death during her lunch break on Thursday. The incident occurred only a block from her EMS station. She was a 25-year veteran of the FDNY and only months from retirement. Her wake was Monday.”

According to witnesses, the attack was unprovoked. The Western Journal states, “ “It was unprovoked. There was no rhyme or reason. No back and forth occurred,” a business owner who witnessed the attack told WCBS-TV. He said he’d previously seen the suspect wandering aimlessly around the neighborhood before.”

The article continues, “The man appeared ‘unhinged’ and ‘like he was on another planet,’ the business owner added.”

The man that murdered her is behind bars now. The Western Journal reports, “Peter Zisopoulos has confessed to stabbing Russo-Elling 19 times and has been charged with second-degree murder, the Post reported. He was in custody for a psychiatric evaluation.”

Alison Russo-Elling was one of the first responders on the scene at 9/11. She also helped with recovery efforts. The Lieutenant remains known for her courage. However, her parents are now telling the mayor to have some courage too. The Western Journal reports, “The mother of a slain New York City Fire Department lieutenant had one request for Mayor Eric Adams at her daughter’s wake: ‘Please, give me back my city.’”

Adams struggles to control the high crime rate in New York City as defunding the police movements continues. It’s time for Democrats to have the same courage as Lt. Alison Russo-Elling and stand up to criminals.
