The Black Lives Matter campaign swept across the nation as riots ensued throughout the summer of 2020.

No one will forget the images of criminals breaking into police stations. Now, it’s still a free-for-all for police officers and civilians alike. Crime runs rampant in many cities. Most of them have Democratic leadership.

According to The Western Journal, “The result has been chaos and lawlessness. According to a July report from WalletHub, between 2020 and 2022, the homicide rate has increased by 18 percent in 50 of the United States’ most populated cities, most of which are Democrat-controlled.”

Many people remain silent for fear of retaliation, but that’s not what’s happening with one Senator. The Western Journal states, “That isn’t the case for Louisiana Republican State Senator John Neely Kennedy.” The article continues, “On Friday, Kennedy released a campaign advertisement targeting anti-cop leftists. He didn’t hold back in the video even a little.”

According to The Washington Times, “Mr. Kennedy, a former Democrat who switched to the Republican Party in 2007, opens the ad by discussing the surge in violent crime in Louisiana and criticizing the woke leaders who blame the police.”

Kennedy makes it clear in the video that he blames criminals, not the police. Throughout the video, he states that he was against defunding the police and points out how bad the crime is in Louisiana. Kennedy says, “A mom should not have to look over her shoulder when pumping gas. I voted against the early release of violent criminals. I strongly opposed defunding the police.”

The final line in the video slams anti-police activists and makes America laugh at the same time. According to The Western Journal, Kennedy said, “Look, if you hate cops just because they’re cops, the next time you get in trouble, call a crackhead.”
