Julie Jaman was at the Mountain View pool in the City of Port Townsend in Washington State when she was made aware of the trans worker, identified as Clementine Adams, in the changing room while taking a shower.
Jaman announced she "heard a man's voice" and immediately confronted the person.
"I saw a man in a woman's bathing suit watching maybe four or five little girls pulling down their suits to use the toilet," Jaman explained to KIRO.
"I asked if he had a penis, and he said it was none of my business. I told that man to 'get out right now!'"

Jaman then told another staffer at the pool - yet rather than a sympathetic ear, she was told by YMCA aquatics manager Rowen DeLuna, "You're discriminating, and you can't use the pool anymore. I'm calling the police."
She was told that she was "banned from the pool forever," as DeLuna called law enforcement.

"She didn't ask me what the problem was, if I was okay, nothing about me," Jaman explained. "It's as if she was just waiting to pounce on me. It was just stunning."
An incident report filed by the Port Townsend Police Department described Jaman as having "had an emotional response to a strange male being in the bathroom" near young girls.

Jaman, who has been a pool member for 35 years, claims she had a "great relationship with swimmers in the pool."
Yet bosses at the facility see it differently - and have explained Jaman's barring as the culmination of a series of incidents where she "violated the facility's code of conduct" and was not solely due to this specific incident.
FIVE ARRESTED IN SOUTHERN TEXAS FOR TRAFFICKING OF MILITARY-GRADE WEAPONS TO CARTEL
"Julie Jaman was permanently suspended from the Mountain View Pool due to her repeatedly violating our Code of Conduct, specifically, using disrespectful words or gestures toward YMCA staff or others; abusive, harassing, and/or obscene language or gestures toward YMCA staff or others," Erin Hawkins, communications manager for the Olympic Peninsula YMCA, announced to Fox News.

"We will not tolerate bias, hatred, or discrimination that leads to the oppression of individuals or communities. We will ensure sustained and meaningful progress toward equity and human dignity for all," a statement read.
Jaman stated she did not feel comfortable being naked and showering with a person born as a male in the same room. She believes the facility should put up warning signs that trans people can use the changing rooms.
