No ladies and gentlemen, you are not watching a sitcom or some comedy sketch - this is your Vice President. Based on the roles Biden is giving her it is obvious the administration has no faith in her either.

While everyone was sleeping or watching late-night infomercials for some next-generation cleaning product that kind of looks like everything else on the store shelves, Joe Biden put Kamala Harris in charge of getting the voting rights bill passed. As we all know, that means the Biden Admin is conceding that nothing will get done with this - as was the case with her championing the border crisis.

Regardless of the poor optics of bumbling Joe passing a torch that was quenched last week off to his number two, or depending on when he took his meds 'President Harris' as he refers to her as at times, Harris took the torch and used a solemn day to basically threaten politicians with not complying. It was quite the spectacle given the fact that she was nowhere to be seen only last week when Biden went to Capitol Hill to beg his caucus to help this one pass.

It is obvious that all the crap work, the failed projects and the impossible-to-pass legislation that Biden has put forward has stained his administration, but now it is just getting silly, literally passing off his garbage to Kamala in hopes she can what? do better? - the fact is Kamala is more of an idiot than Joe is, as Biden has medical cognitive issues, the fact she has the gall to make herself look foolish each time she speaks shows she is the definition of stupid.

In a Martin Luther King Jr. Day speech that seemed targeted at a pair of fellow Democrats, Vice President Kamala Harris called on senators to pass stalled voting rights bills or be “complicit” in disenfranchising people.

Harris’ hard pitch for the apparently fated bills on Monday follows President Biden’s controversial address last week that likened Republican senators to racists for blocking the legislation.

“[King] pushed for racial justice, for economic justice, and for the freedom that unlocks all others, the freedom to vote. Today, our freedom to vote is under assault,” Harris announced in web-streamed comments.

“In Georgia and across our nation, anti-voter laws are being passed that could make it more difficult for as many as 55 million Americans to vote — 55 million Americans. That is one out of six people in our country.”

She continued: “The proponents of these laws are not only putting in place obstacles to the ballot box, they are also working to interfere with our elections to get the outcomes they want and to discredit those they do not. That is not how democracies work. We know the threat we face.”

Later Monday, Harris was asked by a reporter for her message to Send. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Joe Manchin (D-WVa.), openly resist scrapping current Senate filibuster rules.

“As I’ve said before, there are a hundred members of the United States Senate, and I’m not going to absolve — nor should any of us — absolve any member of the United States Senate from taking on a responsibility to follow through on the oath that they all took to support and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Harris announced.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is preparing to call a vote as early as this week on rule changes that would allow federal election reforms to overlook the usual 60-vote threshold for legislation to continue. Though the effort is doomed due to opposition from centrists to allowing for a bare majority in the evenly divided Senate, where Harris breaks ties.

In her MLK Day speech, Harris announced, “last week, the President and I visited Atlanta to deliver a message: It is time for the United States Senate to do its job.”

Harris specifically mentioned the House-passed Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act, which combined the provisions of two large Senate bills.

“This bill represents the first real opportunity to secure the freedom to vote since the US Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act nearly a decade ago. And the Senate must pass this bill now,” she stated.
