"I've told everyone what a horrible person Lin Wood is and if you watched @TuckerCarlson tonight then you heard from Kyle Rittenhouse one of the reasons why I think so. Lin keeping Kyle in jail instead of bailing him out with ALL that money donated FOR Kyle is absolutely evil," she wrote on her Twitter account.
"Lin should go to jail for what he did to Kyle. I also fully blame him for why Georgia lost our Senate seats. He's from Georgia and we know him as a lifelong Democrat not a Republican. He drifted off of Trump & told people not to vote on Jan 5th saying their vote would be stolen," she continued with a follow-up tweet.

The Georgia lawyer had represented Richard Jewell, the security guard falsely accused of making the 1996 Atlanta Olympics bombing, in his claims against media outlets and his employer, received settlements from the media outlets who harmfully smeared Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann at the 2019 March for Life, and had served as one of Kyle Rittenhouse's lawyers.

But after the 2020 presidential election, Wood took his stolen-election ideas so far that he urged Republicans not to vote in the vital Georgia Senate runoff that would determine the chamber's balance unless the state government shifted voting procedures in the way he wished for.

Wood got what he wanted: Republican David Perdue, who had received more votes than Jon Ossoff in November 2020, lost to the same candidate in January 2021. Greene is right that Wood "grifted off of Trump & told people not to vote on Jan 5th saying their vote would be stolen."

Recently it appeared that one of Wood's apparently nobler pursuits may have been a grift all along as well. In an interview after a jury found Kyle Rittenhouse innocent of all charges against him arising from an August 2020 incident in Kenosha, Wis., he showed the extent of Wood's abuse of him. Rittenhouse claimed that Wood and John Pierce, another attorney, had kept him in prison longer than necessary while raising funds for his bail via their foundation. Rittenhouse also considered Wood "insane" and fired him in December 2020.

All of this is to say that Marjorie Taylor Greene is totally right to denounce Lin Wood for losing Republicans the Senate and mistreating Kyle Rittenhouse. It is heartening to see Greene push back against someone some might say would be on her "team." She is right that sometimes these are the people most in need of revision or refutation.
