On Monday, CNN host Chris Cuomo saw the lowest ratings for his primetime show 'Cuomo Prime Time.' The ratings were a fraction of those brought in by Fox News' competing show sharing the same time slot.

Cuomo Prime Time brought in 605,000 total viewers, and just 126,000 viewers in the key age demographic of 25-54, according to data from Nielsen Media Research.

In comparison, the Fox News 9 pm counterpart 'Hannity' with Sean Hannity brought in a whopping 2,694,000 viewers, with 330,000 viewers aged 25-54.

Between the hours of 4 and 11 pm on Monday, Fox News shows outperformed both CNN and MSNBC in every time slot. Tucker Carlson's show 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' brought the highest viewership of a total of 3,146,000 viewers, according to TVNewser.

Fox News brought in 2,710,000 prime time viewers, MSNBC brought in 1,360,000, while CNN brought in just 625,000 prime time viewers. None of CNN's shows between 4 and 11 pm reached over 1 million viewers.

Cuomo's abysmal viewership came one night before the elections took place across the country, and a week after the charges against his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, were revealed in connection to a sexual assault case.

In general, the network, once known as the "most trusted name in news," is quickly becoming the most deserted.

CNN's struggle to maintain relevance following the departure of President Donald Trump has never been more glaring. The news channel is suffering from an unprecedented drought in viewership, going the first two weeks of October without any program averaging 1 million viewers, an astonishing 21-day streak that began in September.

CNN's evaporating viewership comes as the network is plagued by scandals and controversies. Embattled anchor Chris Cuomo was accused of sexual harassment by veteran TV producer Shelley Ross last month after the primetime star spent much of 2021 being engulfed in the scandals of his brother, ousted Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Last week, CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta was forced to admit by podcast superstar Joe Rogan that his colleagues should not have characterized the use of Ivermectin as a COVID treatment as the equivalent of taking "horse dewormer."

Last month, a CNN contributor told her network to rein it in after the outlet aired "dishonest" coverage about podcast host Joe Rogan's use of Ivermectin to fight COVID-19.

CNN contributor and author Mary Katherine Ham criticized the network for its discussions of Rogan's use of the anti-parasite medication, saying the network opted to "dunk" on Rogan rather than provide accurate coverage.

"Rogan is right that it’s dishonest to say he took horse dewormer when he did not," Ham tweeted Friday. "It was irresistible to dunk on him for a lot of people, so they went with that instead of sticking to 'hey, this anti-parasitic isn't recommended for COVID treatment,' which would've been credible."
