The song, performed by Loza Alexander and called "Let's Go Brandon," went viral on TikTok before starting a quick rise up the iTunes hip-hop chart to secure the number one spot.

The song was inspired by the "Let's go Brandon!" trend that has been spreading through the country since NBC sports reporter Kelli Stavast interviewed NASCAR driver Brandon Brown following his success at Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway earlier this month. During the interview, the crowd screamed "F--- Joe Biden" in the background, which Stavast misheard as "Let's go Brandon!"

"Brandon, you also told me — as you can hear the chants from the crowd, 'Let's go, Brandon' — Brandon, you told me you were gonna kinda hang back those first two stages and just watch and learn," Stavast told Brown during the interview. "What did you learn that helped you in those closing laps?"

The interview instantly went viral on social media. Some users theorized that the reporter purposely tried to distort what the crowd was chanting. From there, the line became somewhat of a calling card for enemies of the president, finding its way onto merchandise while others began chorusing it at sporting events.

At one recent Georgia-Auburn college football game, one person rented a plane to fly a flag with the "Let's go Brandon!' phrase written on it, with the words essentially replacing the more popular "F--- Joe Biden!" chants that had been spreading across the country.

The phrase was spotted on T-shirts and a banner pulled by a plane at Donald Trump's rally at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Saturday. It's a recurring meme on right-wing social media websites.

Fans chanted it at college football games last weekend in Texas and Mississippi. Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz mentioned it on a conservative podcast, calling it "one of the funniest things I've ever seen".
