On Monday, the Swedish National Seismic Network recorded two underwater explosions near the Nord Stream pipeline, operated by Russian energy giant Gazprom, SVT reported. The corporation said it detected two seismic events near the pipeline, one of which measured 2.3 on the Richter scale and was detected at 30 measuring stations in southern Sweden. These events were seismic explosions, said Bjorn Lund, seismology professor and director of the Swedish National Seismic Network. This image shows the location of the three leaks along the Nord Stream pipeline.
