It was one of several planned stunts by a bitter resistance party watching their recent impeachment efforts slip away.
Tlaib (D-MI), in an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, claimed mention of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was what “triggered” her.
“I think, you know, even the mention of Brett Kavanaugh for me is a trigger,” she told Maddows’ gullible audience.
To nobody’s surprise, she then proceeded to slander Kavanaugh with a blatant lie.
“Just as a woman in America, the fact that he, you know, rightfully was accused and having an incredibly strong woman come before the public and the world and tell her story of sexual assault by this person that was appointed to the Supreme Court is just — I couldn’t stand still and not do anything about it, and I needed to walk away from that.”
Kavanaugh was never ‘rightfully accused’ and the numerous fake witnesses Democrats hauled before Congress in an attempt to stop his nomination were proven to be lying at worst, inconsistent at best with their accusations.
Kavanaugh should consider suing Tlaib for defamation.

There is little doubt that the entire ‘Squad’ coordinated their little protest. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) announced prior to the State of the Union that they would be boycotting the speech.
“None of this is normal, and I will not legitimize it,” AOC insisted. “Consequently, I will not be attending the State of the Union.”
With that in mind, it was only a matter of time before Tlaib and Omar (D-MN) choreographed their stunt.
The Hill reported, “the seats for Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib were empty before the address was finished,” though they added Omar’s office did not comment.
I walked out of that speech. The lies, the bigotry, and the shameless bragging about taking away food stamps that people depend on to live—it was all beneath the dignity of the office he occupies. Shame on this forever impeached president.

Several Democrats immediately took to social media to tweet about their brave and stunning protest, another indication that it was planned and coordinated.
“I just walked out of the #StateOfTheUnion,” Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) bragged. “I’ve had enough. It’s like watching professional wrestling. It’s all fake.”
Fake? He must be confusing the SOTU with the House impeachment scam.
“I just walked out of the #StateOfTheUnion,” Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) similarly conveyed. “I can’t stand a liar. This man’s presidency is a national tragedy.”
The ‘national tragedy’ is that we have intellectually deficient children like this serving as members of Congress.
Squad praises Pelosi for tearing up Trump's SOTU speech

The group of far-left freshman congresswomen known as the “Squad” may have feuded with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the past, but they showed solidarity with the Democratic leader after she made a public display of tearing up a copy of President Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night.
Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., all reacted with apparent endorsements of Pelosi's actions. While the House speaker drew criticism from Republicans, Tlaib -- who walked out mid-speech -- said she would have gone even further.
"I would have shredded it," she tweeted.
Omar tweeted a gif of Pelosi's past State of the Union behavior to show her appreciation.
Ocasio-Cortez, who has been vocal in the past in clashing with Pelosi, retweeted video of the speaker's actions, letting an emoji sum up her amazement.
Pressley was a no-show at the event but retweeted an enthusiastic post from her policy adviser Lynese Wallace.
Despite her absence at the State of the Union, Pressley delivered the official response from the Working Families Party, accusing Trump and his administration of "racist, xenophobic, hateful rhetoric."
Just last year, the four congresswomen had appeared to have been in Pelosi's crosshairs, when the speaker spoke dismissively of them in a New York Times interview. After the "Squad" opposed a border funding bill, Pelosi told the Times: "All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world, but they didn’t have any following. They’re four people, and that’s how many votes they got."
Ocasio-Cortez and Tlaib both accused Pelosi of singling out women of color.
Pelosi and the "Squad" have demonstrated that they can put their differences aside for the common goal of opposing the president. Tuesday night's State of the Union appeared to provide them with another opportunity to do just that.
Trump, meanwhile, has responded to Pelosi by retweeting messages calling out Pelosi for her behavior, many bearing the hashtag #PelosiTantrum.
CNN’s Chris Cuomo: State Of The Union Address ‘Celebrated What The Country Is About’

CNN host Chris Cuomo praised President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, saying Trump “celebrated what the country is about.
“Those were some really poignant moments. I don’t know if you saw them, but you should go online and look,” he said. “The president in that speech tonight celebrated what the country is about from one set of moments, our diversity, how we overcome, how we come together. Is that what he’s really about and something for them to use as a sword and shield? I don’t know. Here’s one thing I know. This country is not just a sum of the actions of its politicians.”
Trump spent much of the speech offering an idealized vision of America that some felt was an appeal to a bipartisan audience.
“This is our glorious and magnificent inheritance,” the president said. “America’s the place where anything can happen.America is the place where anyone can rise, and here on this land, on the soil, on this continent, the most incredible dreams come true.”
“This nation is our canvas and this country is our masterpiece. We look at tomorrow and see unlimited frontiers just waiting to be explored. Our brightest discoveries are not yet known. Our most thrilling stories are not yet told. Our grandest journeys are not yet made,” he continued.

Trump’s address infuriated House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who immediately ripped in two her copy of the speech after the president had finished his delivery. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer also dismissed the speech as “demagogic, undignified, highly partisan and in too many places, untruthful.” (RELATED: Trump Surprises Army Wife With Her Husband’s Homecoming)

In his address, Trump delivered a plea for Congress to end late-term abortion, promised to enact paid family leave for government employees and attacked sanctuary cities as havens for criminal illegal immigrants.
