Texans Call Out AOC & Other Democrats For Lying About Detention Centers At Border Presser

AOC, Rashida Tlaib and a whole host of justice Democrats are shouted down by Hispanic anti-illegal immigration protestors during a press conference following the Dems’ tour of border patrol facilities in El Paso, Texas.

AOC: Border Patrol agents locked women in cells and ‘told them to drink out of the toilets’ (Update: ‘What’s so funny?’)

This article was sourced from Hot Air

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is visiting several Border Patrol detention centers today. After leaving the first one, AOC tweeted that Border Patrol had locked women in cells with no water and told them to drink from the toilet.

Just left the 1st CBP facility.

I see why CBP officers were being so physically &sexually threatening towards me.

Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets.

This was them on their GOOD behavior in front of members of Congress.

CPB should make a good faith investigation to find out what is happening here. Meanwhile, there’s another reason AOC may be justifiably upset with some Border Patrol agents today. A ProPublica story published today looked at a Facebook group which featured Border Patrol agents and misogynist memes about AOC:

Created in August 2016, the Facebook group is called “I’m 10-15” and boasts roughly 9,500 members from across the country. (10-15 is Border Patrol code for “aliens in custody.”) The group described itself, in an online introduction, as a forum for “funny” and “serious” discussion about work with the patrol…

Perhaps the most disturbing posts target Ocasio-Cortez. One includes a photo illustration of her engaged in oral sex at an immigrant detention center. Text accompanying the image reads, “Lucky Illegal Immigrant Glory Hole Special Starring AOC.”

Another is a photo illustration of a smiling President Donald Trump forcing Ocasio-Cortez’s head toward his crotch. The agent who posted the image commented: “That’s right bitches. The masses have spoken and today democracy won.”

It’s not surprising some agents are angry at being compared to concentration camp guards by AOC, but stuff like this is completely unprofessional and only helps AOC paint the entire organization with a broad brush, which of course, she did:

For the record, it’s not clear that the 9,500 people in the Facebook group are all current agents. Some may be retired agents. Some may not be agents at all. And it’s possible the offensive content is not representative of everything people in the group are saying or posting. But I suspect the agents identified in the ProPublica report are going to be disciplined soon. Here’s CPB’s response to the story which calls some of the memes and statements “disturbing” and “completely inappropriate.”

Finally, since this is going to be news today, it’s worth pointing out that CPB continues to rescue people on the border even as they are being compared to the Nazis. This happened last Tuesday and I think it’s fair to say this is actually CPB on their best behavior:

‘Mini AOC’ Mocks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Staged Border Photo Op

This article was sourced from InfoWars

Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest critic is a nine-year-old version of herself.

This time, the popular Twitter personality “Mini AOC” is mocking the New York House rep’s staged border photo op, which Cortez highlighted last week in a retweet that was immediately called out as staged propaganda.

“Every time I plan a visit to the park it’s closed! ?” Mini AOC wrote. “Can everyone see how sad this makes me?!”

The hilarious spoof comes on the heels of another rendition from conservative activist Candace Owens, in which she also struck the same poses as AOC, but instead called on better education for inner-city black youth.

The original photos featuring AOC in front of a detention center fence in Tornillo, Texas surfaced last week, supposedly capturing the moment she witnessed the “America I love was becoming a nation that steals refugee children from their parents & caged them.”

Report: Ocasio-Cortez Screamed at Law Enforcement in 'Threatening Manner' During Migrant Shelter Visit

This article was sourced from Breitbart

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) toured migrant detention facilities Monday and tweeted her findings, accusing Customs and Border Protection officers of acting “physically and sexually” threatening towards her.

AOC insisted that detainees were forced to drink out of toilets. Other reports are surfacing, claiming that the New York lawmaker “screamed” at law enforcement agents in a “threatening manner” during the visit.

The freshman lawmaker toured migrant shelters near El Paso Monday and reported the findings to her 4.59 million Twitter followers. She claimed that CBP officers were “being so physically & sexually threatening” towards her.

“I see why CBP officers were being so physically & sexually threatening towards me,” she tweeted.

“Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets,” she continued. “This was them on their GOOD behavior in front of members of Congress.”

Despite the clear overcrowding issues, Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the argument for additional funding, which would provide more bed space and make the overcrowded facilities more suitable.

“This has been horrifying so far,” she continued. “It is hard to understate the enormity of the problem. We’re talking systemic cruelty w/ a dehumanizing culture that treats them like animals.”

However, the New York lawmaker reportedly “screamed” at law enforcement agents in a threatening manner during her visit, according to the Washington Examiner’s Anna Giaritelli‏. She reported:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., screamed at federal law enforcement agents ‘in a threatening manner’ during a visit to a U.S. Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas, Monday afternoon and refused to tour the facility, according to two people who witnessed it.

“13 other House Democrats as well as their aides were in the room. I’m told only Rep. Ocasio-Cortez reacted in this manner,” she added.

All of this follows ProPublica’s recent story, detailing an offensive private Facebook group with what it claims are thousands of former and current Border Patrol agents as members.

Members of a secret Facebook group for current and former Border Patrol agents joked about the deaths of migrants, discussed throwing burritos at Latino members of Congress visiting a detention facility in Texas on Monday and posted a vulgar illustration depicting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez engaged in oral sex with a detained migrant, according to screenshots of their postings.

CBP took immediate action.

“These posts are completely inappropriate and contrary to the honor and integrity I see—and expect—from our agents day in and day out,” U.S. Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost said.

“Any employees found to have violated our standards of conduct will be held accountable,” Provost added.
