One such sign had “FJB” plastered across it, in an apparent abbreviation of “F–k Joe Biden.”
“A less coded version just outright said ‘F–k you Biden’ with the U in the F word cleverly drawn to look like a middle finger,” reported White House pool correspondent Todd Gillman of the Dallas Morning News.
“A real middle finger attached to a somewhat rough looking middle aged man with a beard was praised as the motorcade passed,” Gillman added.
The reporter also noted that other signs displayed various messages including “You Suck,” “High Gas – C’mon man,” and “Trump is still President.”
At least one person wore a shirt reading “Let’s Go Brandon” — a slogan used as a stand-in for “F— Joe Biden.” The same message appeared on a handful of signs and at least one large flag.
The President’s approval ratings have plummeted amid a series of setbacks including the highest inflation seen in over 31 years and a resurgence of COVID-19 cases.
Last week, a Nantucket man flipped Biden’s motorcade the bird on Thanksgiving. And at least one house near Biden’s vacation home on the Massachusetts island had a “Let’s Go Brandon” banner hanging for all to see.
In Minnesota, a wide range of issues were raised by anti-Biden protesters.
One protester opposed to Biden’s nearly $2 trillion social spending plan held a sign that said “Build Back Broke,” while anti-COVID-19 vaccine activists brandished a sign with a red slash mark through a hypodermic needle and the message “STOP THE EXPERIMENT NOW!”
Gillman reported that there was a smattering of support for Biden along the road as well.
One person held a sign that said “Let’s Go Joe” and another yelled out “Welcome to Rosemount.”
