Appearing on Newsmax TV’s "The Count" Saturday night with Tom Basile, Horowitz, a prominent Jewish conservative, warned that Christians are set to see increasing persecution as the Democrats take control of Washington.
Horowitz is the author of the bestseller "Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America."
Horowitz alleged that the Democratic Party has embraced an anti-Christian agenda that was vigorously implemented by Barack Obama, “the most anti-Christian, most anti-religious president in history.”
"The problem, outside the persecution of any group is bad, is this country was founded on Christian principles," Horowitz pointed out.
He said “Dark Agenda” explains that the “values we cherish” began with America’s Christian settlers, who themselves were fleeing persecution in Europe for their beliefs.
Horowitz argues this is the key reason the First Amendment enshrined freedom of speech and conscience, as a bulwark to protect religious freedom and additionally, why those freedoms are “under systematic assault by the Democrat party” today.
Horowitz also defended the right of Republicans to question the 2020 election results, and noted Democrats had made similar moves in with the 2000, 2004 and 2016 elections.
An outstanding display of Dem hypocrisy is that Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, currently has just one thing on her mind: Impeaching President Donald Trump. Because Vice President Mike Pence won't support using the 25th Amendment, which would strip Trump of his presidential powers, she intends to launch a quick impeachment vote with the backing of her friends in Congress if he doesn't resign willingly.
As Republican leaders don't plan on backing the initiative (at least that's what they decided behind closed doors), it is destined to fail – similar to the attempt to disqualify some of the Electoral College votes last week. Hence, Pelosi is doing precisely what she accuses Trump of doing – dividing America when the one thing it needs is to unite. Even more so when just 11 days remain until the end of his term.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, Pelosi didn't mince words, calling the president "deranged," "unhinged" and "dangerous."
The big question is where was Pelosi during the riots and looting across the US this past summer. The Democrats' hypocrisy in this context knows no bounds. Trump's speech to his supporters before the storming of the Congress was a bad mistake, but the Democrats are now making it worse.
"The more they block him, the greater our support will be." Twitter decided on Friday to shut down Trump's account indefinitely, after initially suspending it temporarily for 12 hours the same day dozens of his supporters raided Congress to disrupt the Electoral count.
The decision reverberated across the US and the entire globe, as the president's Twitter account is perhaps his main tool for communicating with the American public. He has 88 million followers.
