Trump suggests NBC's broadcasting license should be challenged

Written by  CBS News

President Trump criticized NBC in a series of tweets Wednesday morning, also suggesting that the network's broadcasting license should be reviewed.

"With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License?" Mr.

Trump tweeted. "Bad for country!"

The president's words come following an NBC report that Mr. Trump told top DOD officials he wanted what amounted to "a nearly tenfold increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal." NBC News cited three officials who were present during a summer Pentagon meeting of the nation's highest ranking national security leaders.

NBC also reported the national security assembly was the same meeting in which Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reportedly called Mr. Trump a "F*****g moron" shortly after officials were dismissed.

Mr. Trump said that NBC News' reporting is "Pure fiction, made up to demean" and compared it to CNN, which he has previously also criticized and labeled as "fake news."

It is ironic that the media reports only the "news" that goes along with their liberal agenda and then hides behind the constitution that they don't seem to agree with.

When all You report is skewed to one party You become a parasite on federal funding and need to be taxed as such.

Wrong idea, like so many he espoused as a candidate. I don't like the lies that the Main Stream Media tell, either, and I feel that the press, in order to stay free, has, at some point, to become responsible, but challenging the licensing of broadcast stations because of their political reporting/views is something the Left wants to do. (Also, perhaps Despicable Donald doesn't realize that it is individual STATIONS, not NETWORKS which are licensed by the FCC.

News is to inform people and the people want the truth, not FAKE NEWS, I would not only challenge their license but also their reporters for not informing of us the true facts. Of course the NBC is a democrat news station and they are liars. Lester Holt should be investigated regarding the debate where Hillary got questions ahead of time and then spent days memorizing questions and answers, another crooked thing to do, demo-rats are so deceitful and to think they were elected by others, and don't represent anyone but themselves. sad our tax payers money goes to pay the lairs and crooks, and the innocent are left out in the rain. Well it is time to turn the tables, with TRUTH JUSTICE AND INFORCING THE LAWS and BRINGING JUSTICE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, let those that do a crime pay the time, not only in money but also in doing hard time,

If that story is true, NBC must be held to account by the regulator - only news stories reported that suit the media playbook?
