Kaepernick Compares Police Officers With Runaway Slave Patrol

Written by  Michael W. Chapman

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who is now a free agent, posted a tweet on June 16 that shows a police officer badge and a “runaway slave patrol” badge side by side and states, “You can’t ignore your history.

Always remember who they are.”

Kaepernick, 29, caused controversy in his final year (2016) with the 49ers by refusing to stand for the National Anthem at football games. In a reference to the radical Black Lives Matter movement, Kaepernick said, "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way.”

“There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder,” said Kaepernick, who has also often sported a pro-Fidel Castro t-shirt at press briefings.

In a June 16 tweet, Kaepernick said, “A system that perpetually condones the killing of people, without consequence, doesn't need to be revised, it needs to be dismantled!”

“YOU CAN’T IGNORE YOUR HISTORY. ALWAYS REMEMEBR WHO YOU ARE.”

His tweet was in response to the acquittal by jury of a Minnesota police officer, Jeronimo Yanez, who shot dead a black man, Philandro Castle, during a traffic stop.

This 3rd rate clown that hates America so much should not be forced to live among people he hates should be allowed to move to a different country, perhaps in Africa since that's where he seems to identify himself with?

Mr. Kaspernick there are black trash and white trash, black and all colors of evil and white and all colors kind of evil...lumping all together good with the bad is not right...it shows how narrow minded you are. Why don't you attempt something constructive with your words and time...bet your luck changes the minute you attempt that fete.
