This decision comes despite her brother, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., making a bold independent bid for the presidency.
Speaking to George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "Good Morning America," Kerry Kennedy expressed the gravity of the upcoming election, stating, "I think, you know, this is the most important election of my lifetime."
The Biden campaign anticipates the endorsement of 15 Kennedy family members at a campaign event in Philadelphia this Thursday. This show of support comes amidst a family rift with RFK Jr., whose presidential bid has been described by his family as potentially "dangerous" for the nation.

She stated, "I think the point here today is electing Joe Biden. It’s a two-man race. There’s only two people in this race who can get to 270 electoral votes: Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Joe Biden stands for the middle class; Joe Biden has built up our economy. Under Joe Biden’s leadership, crime has gone down 10 percent over the last several years."

Kerry Kennedy further praised Biden as an "extraordinary leader" who embodies her family's values. She urged every eligible voter to cast their vote for Biden, asserting that if everyone who can vote does so, Biden will secure victory.
Later on Thursday, Kerry Kennedy is expected to reiterate these sentiments in her formal endorsement of Biden.
In her endorsement, she will express her father's likely disapproval of Donald Trump, stating, "I can only imagine how Donald Trump’s outrageous lies and behavior would have horrified my father, Robert F. Kennedy, who proudly served as attorney general of the United States and honored his pledge to uphold the law and protect the country," according to excerpts provided by the Biden campaign.
