President Biden took a jab at former President Donald Trump on Saturday for hosting a high-dollar fundraiser in Florida, mocking the attendees as "a bunch of hedge fund billionaires."

In a video shared on X, Biden contrasted the event by stating, "This campaign is Scranton versus Palm Beach."

In the 54-second clip, Biden criticized Trump, alleging, "Folks, you know Trump is down in Florida today raising money from a bunch of hedge fund billionaires who want him to cut Social Security and Medicare and their taxes."

The fundraiser, held at hedge funder John Paulson's $110 million Palm Beach estate, drew notable Republicans who paid between $250,000 and $814,000 for entry.

Highlighting his campaign's March fundraising report, Biden announced a $90 million intake for the month, attributing the success to a surge in small-dollar donations under $200. He proudly stated, "Our campaign now has 1.6 million individual donors, and more than half a million of those donors are brand-new since 2020."
