Linkin Park airs Carpool Karaoke episode with Chester Bennington

Chester Bennington laughed and sang along with his Linkin Park bandmates in a "Carpool Karaoke" episode that was filmed just days before his death.

Linkin Park announced last week that with the blessing of Bennington's family, they'd be airing their episode of the Apple TV show, and made good on the promise Thursday, when they premiered the car ride they took July 14, six days before Bennington committed suicide.

In the video, Bennington — joined by actor Ken Jeong riding shotgun and bandmates Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn — belts along to some of the group's biggest hits, like "Numb," "In the End" and "Talking to Myself."

The 20-minute episode showcases the singer's dry sense of humor in a bit where he teaches Jeong how to "screan" (or, scream sing), and in a hilarious dance-off choreographed by Jeong.

Singing aside, Bennington also spoke frankly of his children, and explained that he just wanted them to embrace what makes them happy.

"For me, I just want my kids to find something that they're passionate about. Like, one of my kids loves sports. Great. My daughters, they love music, they want to learn how to play instruments.
