(Video) Chicago Crime: Woman Gunned Down In Front Of Police Station, Suspect Fires Into Building

Shots fired in Chicago on Sunday night near a Chicago police station left one person dead and another seriously injured. The incident adds to a string of gun violence in the Windy City and leaves police asking the public for help.

This particular shooting happened in the 22nd District station of the Morgan Hill neighborhood, and it is just the latest in a string of incidents like this that have taken place in and around Chicago. Sadly, it seems like there is no end in sight when it comes to the violence that continues to take place in the windy city.

A vehicle pursuit occurred around 8 PM, in which the gunman chased the victim’s vehicle shooting at the vehicle several times. The gunman then shot at the victim several times after they emerged from the vehicle. Reportedly, shots were fired at the police station itself as well.

The Chicago police chief said the following about the incident: “Officers, hearing the shots being fired at the station, exited the station to render aid to the victims of the vehicle.”

Two people in the victim’s car suffered injuries as a result of the gunshots, according to Chicago police. A female victim was confirmed rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The male victim in this incident was also taken to the hospital and is currently in serious condition.

The police are currently looking at several security cameras in the area of the vehicle pursuit in hopes of finding more clues and evidence to identify the gunman.
