Police bodycam footage has been released of former Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Bossert Clark, standing in his underwear throughout an early morning raid by federal agents on his home last month

Clark, who was helping President Donald Trump find evidence of fraud after his alleged 2020 election loss, had his house searched by U.S. law enforcement agents.

Video of the raid right after dawn, obtained by CNN, sees Clark opening the front door to his Virginia home wearing only a blue shirt and underpants.

A female federal agent introduces herself and requests him to step outside. She then informs him that the officers have a search warrant.

"Can I call my lawyer?" Clark can be heard questioning.

"Let's step outside," the officer responds. "Just real quick, we've got to clear the house, make sure you're safe."

"Sir, we gotta clear the house," one agent replies.

"We're gonna clear the house, and as soon as we clear the house we'll get you talking to your lawyer and we'll get some pants on, okay?" another continues.

"Can I put pants on first?" Clark then asks in disbelief.

The officers declined once again, declaring that they have to enter his home. Clark suggests that he might be able to wait in his garage yet he is again declined.

"Stand behind the cars and no one will see you," an officer tells him.

"There's no reason for this," Clark can be heard stating.

Officers ended up seizing electronics while a dog was further used to help undercover and sniff out any electronic gadgets that might be concealed.

Clark announced he thought what had taken place was a politically motivated action.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, Clark shared his dismay at what he had been subjected to

"At one point 12 agents and two Fairfax County Police Officers went into my house, searched it for 3.5 hours," he stated. "They took all of the electronics from my house," he announced in an interview with Tucker Carlson.

"I just think we're living in an era that I don't recognize and increasingly, Tucker, I don't recognize the country anymore with these Stasi-like things happening," Clark stated.

"Yeah, this is Stalinist," Carlson replied. "At some point, somebody's gonna fight back and it's going to get super ugly. I pray that it doesn't happen but I think it probably will."

The Stasi was one of the most hated and feared institutions of the East German communist government between 1950 and 1990.

One of the Stasi's main tasks was spying on the population, primarily through a vast network of citizens-turned-informants, and fighting any opposition by overt and covert measures.
