CNN was first to speculate on a Biden win - even though the Supreme Court halted some counting in Pennsylvania and no State has officially declared.

In their enthusiastic and false statement, CNN said “Joe Biden will become the 46th president of the United States, after a victory in the state where he was born put him over the 270 electoral votes needed to win. With Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes, Biden now has a total of 273 electoral votes.”

CNN together with the guardian and now the associated press have announced that Biden has won the elections and will be the 46th president of the United states. Although many votes have not been counted yet and the recount is still going on.

On Friday, Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger, said the state would have a recount due to the slim election margin. The margin is currently 0.2% with 99% of votes counted. The state had about 4,169 votes left to count, according to Gabriel Sterling, Georgia's voting system implementation manager. A recount could take until the end of the month.

With that still in process and many other votes still being counted they recklessly decided to decide that Biden is the winner. Although it may be true that Biden had a lead, the electrons are so close and with many cases of voting fraud being reported.

This is the ultimate example of the media taking control of politics and interfering in the elections.

Sterling said counties will hand-count a deck of ballots as a test, which will then be sent through high-speed scanners located at the central county elections office.

If the tallies match and the election workers determine the scanner is working accurately, every single ballot will then be rescanned. According to AP's research, there have been at least 31 statewide recounts since 2000. And of those, only three changed the outcome of the election. The initial margins in those races were all under 300 votes.

Where paper ballots are used and it appears there is a discrepancy or error, the superintendent may order a recount, or any candidate or political party may petition for one.

A losing candidate may request a recount when results are within 0.5% of total votes cast for the office, which is the case in Georgia and many other counties in Pennsylvania and Nevada.

"The request must be made within two business days following certification of the results," according to the National Association of Secretaries of State.

Nevada does not have an automatic trigger for a recount. A candidate at any election, or any registered voter of the appropriate political subdivision can request a recount.

This reckless behavior should be condemned by both Biden and Trump as it is clear interference with the ongoing count.
