Ever the real estate developer, President Trump touted North Korea’s “great beaches” and suggested that Kim Jong Un should tap into his country’s spectacular coastline to boost its economy.
“They have great beaches. You see that whenever they’re exploding their cannons into the ocean,” Trump said during a press conference in Singapore following his historic summit with the North Korean leader.
“I said, ‘Boy, look at that view. Wouldn’t that make a great condo? Instead of doing that you could have the best hotels in the world right there.,’” Trump said. “Think of it from a real estate perspective, you have South Korea, you have China, and they own the land in the middle, how bad is that, right?
