In an attempt to combat the escalating issue of lawlessness in New York, a Home Depot store in Rochelle has resorted to employing a guard dog and private security, as reported by The New York Post.

This measure comes in response to the increasing number of people crossing into the country each year, a situation that has worsened under the Biden administration.

The New York Post provided a detailed account of the situation:

"Two men, donning MSA Security caps and bulletproof vests, accompanied by a German Shepherd, were seen patrolling the Home Depot premises in New Rochelle on Tuesday. One of the guards clarified that their presence was more about creating a sense of security rather than using the dog for aggressive purposes."

The report further highlighted that the guarded lot in New Rochelle was devoid of any migrants during their visit. However, a stark contrast was observed in Throggs Neck, The Bronx, located seven miles away, where approximately 30 male migrants were seen loitering around the Home Depot entrance.

Some of these individuals were day laborers seeking work with local contractors, while others were seen aggressively confronting customers, attempting to sell counterfeit Apple Airpods or offering to load shopping carts into cars, often without invitation.

The New York Post also interviewed some customers and workers who have been subjected to this unwelcome attention:

"A female worker expressed her discomfort, stating that being followed to her car by these men was unnerving. She also mentioned an incident where a female supervisor witnessed one of the men washing his privates with a water bottle in the lot. Several women have reported thefts of purses or phones, attributing these incidents to the growing migrant population in New York City."

LaurieAnn Masciocco, an employee in the store’s customer service department, confirmed that they frequently receive complaints about the influx of migrants. She described the situation as invasive and harassing, stating that it has become a significant issue.

A spokesperson for Home Depot refrained from divulging specific security measures but confirmed that it is not uncommon for them to employ third-party security at various stores across the country.

These unpleasant experiences have become a common occurrence in New York, where Democratic authorities continue to fund the lifestyles of illegal aliens and offer them sanctuary from deportation.

Despite repeatedly warning that mass immigration could "destroy" New York City, the city's Mayor continues to support the open-border policies of the Biden administration.
