In a significant public appearance following his cancer diagnosis, King Charles was seen engaging with his supporters post the Easter Sunday service in Windsor.

The King, accompanied by Queen Camilla, interacted with the crowd, shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries. However, the absence of the Prince and Princess of Wales was conspicuous, with Catherine currently undergoing cancer treatment.

Despite his health challenges, King Charles has been fulfilling his royal duties in private, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his responsibilities. As reported by the BBC, the 75-year-old monarch surprised the crowd waiting outside St George’s Chapel after the service. He commended their resilience, stating, "You’re very brave to stand out here in the cold." Many in the crowd extended their Easter wishes and expressed their hopes for the King's speedy recovery. One supporter encouraged the King, saying, "We’re all rooting for you, we’ve all got your back," while another urged him to "Keep going strong Your Majesty. Keep going strong, never give in."

In recent months, Queen Camilla has assumed a more prominent role within the royal family, undertaking solo trips that were previously the King's responsibility. Prince William, while continuing his work on Earthshot and Homewards, is reportedly planning to reduce his travel to safeguard his family and maintain normalcy.

Earlier this week, the King expressed his "great sadness" at missing the traditional Maundy Thursday service, which Queen Camilla attended in his stead. In February, following his diagnosis, the King was seen attending church in Sandringham. Although well-wishers gathered as he entered the church on his private estate in Norfolk, they were not permitted to enter the grounds, which remained closed to the public until Easter.
