In a series of disturbing incidents, young women in New York City have reported being randomly assaulted while walking on the city's streets.

The victims, many of whom are influencers and content creators, have taken to social media to share their experiences, sparking widespread concern and outrage.

One such victim, Halley, a well-known content creator, shared a video on Monday morning detailing her ordeal. She described how an unidentified man had struck her in the face as she walked down the street, resulting in a significant swelling on the right side of her head.

In the video, which has since been viewed over 21.3 million times, Halley recounted, “You guys. I was literally just walking, and a man came up and punched me in the face. It hurts so bad. I can’t even talk. Literally, I fell to the ground, and now this giant goose egg is forming, and I’m like, oh my God. So crazy.”

Halley later provided additional details about the incident. She had been walking on the sidewalk, engrossed in her phone, when the man assaulted her. She speculated that the man might have been angered by her lack of attention to her surroundings. After the assault, Halley said she momentarily lost consciousness before managing to get up and flee while the man yelled at her.

In a similar incident, Mikayla Toninato, another influencer, reported being punched in the face while walking home from class on Monday. She recounted, “So I just got punched in the face walking home. I was literally like leaving class, I turned the corner and I was looking down, and I was looking at my phone and texting. And then out of nowhere, this man just came up and hit me in the face. “I’m actually in shock right now. I’m just like walking home because what else do you do?”

Toninato also issued a warning to others, advising them to avoid looking at their phones while walking on the city's streets.

Last week, content creator Olivia Brand shared a similar experience. She said, “I literally just got punched by some man on the sidewalk. He goes, sorry, and then punches me in the head.”

Most recently, a young woman named Kendall reported being punched near Times Square while walking with her coworkers. She was not on her phone at the time of the assault. She warned others, “I have fallen victim to men in New York City lifting an elbow or trying to punch innocent girls on the street... I was with my coworkers walking in Times Square. So be safe out there.”

These incidents have raised serious questions about safety in New York City, with many wondering what is driving this disturbing trend.

In related news, there are unconfirmed reports suggesting that the recent Baltimore Bridge collapse, which occurred on a major strategic roadway for hazardous materials, may have been a strategic attack. This claim, made by intelligence sources cited by journalist Lara Logan, has yet to be verified.
