According to petMD, pet snakes are typically fed frozen prey purchased from pet stores, which is thawed in the refrigerator before feeding. In contrast, wild snakes like anacondas use their size to overpower and consume prey such as turtles, crocodiles, jaguars, and even humans, as highlighted by Round Glass and Rainforest Cruises.
