The specter of tyranny looms ominously when the legislative body morphs into a power that can enact laws for the sake of plunder, according to Mark Levin.

He is acutely aware of the origins and proponents of this dangerous trend.

"Marxism is the most evil of isms," Levin asserts, highlighting the deceptive nature of its populist veneer. "The idea that you can camouflage your agenda in populism, the name of the people, inequality, that is the proletariat overthrowing the bourgeois."

Levin points to three influential political philosophers who have propagated this ideology: Marx, Hegel, and Rousseau. "Marx figured out how to popularize tyranny. Hegel figured out how to popularize tyranny," Levin elucidates, adding, "Rousseau figured out how to popularize tyranny."

Despite the passing of these philosophers, their ideologies persist, particularly within the current government. Their principles are manifested and executed by lobbyists, special interest groups, and those who are ostensibly tasked with the country's welfare and the promotion of freedom.

However, Levin contends that their true objective is to enrich themselves through the enactment of laws and regulations. "Their real purpose is to get laws made and regulations in place to make them rich," Levin states.

He criticizes government officials for prioritizing personal wealth accumulation, often at the expense of others. They attempt to regulate their competitors out of business and manipulate Congress into passing laws that compel people to make specific purchases, such as electric vehicles.

Levin also warns of the expanding government. "The bigger the bureaucracy gets, the more centralized it gets, the more powerful Washington gets the individual, towns, the states, the less your vote matters," he cautions.

He further notes that the detrimental effects of Marxism will persist until there is barely anything left to defend. "It’s as if everybody has to become impoverished and destitute and punished before there’s a chance to eventually turn it around, because this is a cycle," Levin laments, likening the situation to a relentless hamster wheel.
